How Can I Find God?
Someone asked us “did you hear from God or did you see God so that you believe in God?” Well, God is not like a human being. So we should not expect to find God if we go somewhere. But the Quran says God is very near to us. When we pray to God, God even answers us.

[The Quran 2:186] When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be guided.
Therefore, first we have to understand that we should not expect to find God the same way as we find another human being. Because obviously God is not like anybody or anything, that is why He is God, the supreme authority.
[The Quran 2:115] To GOD belongs the east and the west; wherever you go there will be the presence of GOD. GOD is Omnipresent, Omniscient.
So, we can say God is everywhere. Therefore, God is mysterious because even though God is everywhere we cannot see God or hear from God using our physical organs such as eyes or ears. The reason is probably that God is not physical being so our physical organs cannot see or comprehend or hear from God.
In the [2:186] verse God encourages us to pray to God and think about God (meditation on God). So, if we contemplate on God more and still our mind, probably we can find or hear from God in a mysterious way.
