Does God need to make effort and work to create things?
Salamun Alaykum Irtaza bhai,
I know the verse [19:35] and similar other verses of course. God needs to make a plan then He gives command to execute. Even after giving His commands, “Be” He needs to wait sometimes long time to execute His commands. Here making plan, doing calculation, giving commands and waiting for thousands years are not an effort and work? God doesn’t get tired like us, I know. Our efforts and God’s efforts cannot be same.
After making our plans etc., we have to execute our plans by ourselves or by our representatives. But God doesn’t need so. Even many cases God commands are executed by angels, right? He has full control over all natural worlds but still He needs to wait to execute His commands and I mean waiting is also one kind of effort and work.
To me waiting is very boring! If you think without any effort and work if God created us, our earth, Sun, moon etc. why should we serve God?! Is that logical or rational? God doesn’t do wrong. God is not an autocratic ruler. He is 100% Just Ruler. Thank you.

<<<But God also needs time and efforts to complete a creation. For instance, God calculated earth’s provisions in four days>>>
Salamun Alaykum, Dear Anis.
God does not need time and effort to complete a creation.
[19:35] It does not befit GOD that He begets a son, be He glorified. To have anything done, He simply says to it, “Be,” and it is.
But, God gives His creations a freedom of choice, which involves time. His creations had to decide what they wanted to be!
[41:11] Then He turned to the sky, when it was still gas, and said to it, and to the earth, “Come into existence, willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We come willingly.”
Thank you and may God guide me,
Muhammed Irtaza

[The holy Quran 41:9] Say, “You disbelieve in the One who created the earth in two days, and you set up idols to rank with Him, though He is Lord of the universe.”
[41:10] He placed on it stabilizers (mountains), made it productive, and He calculated its provisions in four days, to satisfy the needs of all its inhabitants.
[41:11] Then He turned to the sky, when it was still gas, and said to it, and to the earth, “Come into existence, willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We come willingly.”
[41:12] Thus, He completed the seven universes in two days, and set up the laws for every universe. And we adorned the lowest universe with lamps, and placed guards around it. Such is the design of the Almighty, the Omniscient.
According to the Quran, before creation of the solid mass it seems that space was already there. Space and time maybe eternal! Obviously something was already there and responded, “We come willingly.” That is why God also needs time to accomplish His giant tasks. Is void space just nothing? Modern science doesn’t believe so! And even we don’t know what is “nothing” actually!
The holy Quran confirms that God has full power over natural worlds, that is why He is God. But God also needs time and efforts to complete a creation. For instance, God calculated earth’s provisions in four days and one God’s day is at least equal to one thousand of our years! That is why it makes perfect sense that we must obey God, we must praise God, we must glorify God, we must worship God, we must be grateful to God. God is very kind so He created so many beautiful and beneficial things for us. All those things were not created effortlessly or aimlessly. Those were not just playing games.

Dear Mr. Asghar.
It is an allegorical description when the Quran says “God’s Hand”. Such description communicates the message by means of symbolic representation. For example:
[17:29] You shall not keep your hand stingily tied to your neck, nor shall you foolishly open it up, lest you end up blamed and sorry.
All living creatures are created from water. Water has several properties that make it central to all living things. Water molecules are held together by weak bonds called hydrogen bonds. These bonds allow water to carry on several functions vital to life.
God creates everything out of nothing including the solid giant mass that was exploded per the Big Bang Theory.
God creates all the laws. Based on one such law, w
e cannot create or destroy energy. But, God can create or destroy energy. It is utterly meaningless to apply God created laws on God and expect Him to behave accordingly! God’s law is for His creations, not for God.
[41:12] Thus, He completed the seven universes in two days, and set up the laws for every universe. And we adorned the lowest universe with lamps, and placed guards around it. Such is the design of the Almighty, the Omniscient.
Thank you and may God guide me,
Muhammed Irtaza

So, Allah created everything with His hands and has been holding the heavens and earth in them, lest they vanish. He also created humans with water! (Is it true?)
Which confirms that Allah has hands!
Yes, science confirms what is stated in verse 21:30. This means that a solid mass was already in existence before it exploded and formed the earth; suns, numerous stars; many moons and other planets.
This again means that Allah’s creations came into existence from a solid mass. Therefore, His claim that He created everything out of nothing is false!
Agreed?

Subject: Great Miracle – Quran is God’s Book, / cosmology
Salam.
The whole world that is known to us and everything in it is our universe. Many astronomers think that everything in our universe was once packed together in one lump. Then, about 15 billion years ago, there was a gigantic cosmic explosion which they call the Big Bang. According to them, our universe was created from that explosion!
[21:30] Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?
According to the cosmology, The Big Bang explosion sent the young universe flying out in all directions. Over vast ages of time, bits came together to make galaxies. The galaxies are huge groups of stars in space. The galaxies are still speeding apart today, and our universe is getting bigger!
[51:47] We constructed the sky with our hands, and we will continue to expand it.
The planets are not big or as hot as stars, and they cannot make light of their own. They were made from the leftovers of the same gas and dust cloud that gave birth to our star, the Sun. Our planet Earth is the only one in the solar system with water and living things on it. That makes it very special. It is the 3rd planet from the Sun, and it get just right amount of heat and light to keep us alive! Any closer, and it would be too hot. Any farther away, and it would be too cold!
[54:49] Everything we created is precisely measured
Everything in space has a pulling force called gravity – galaxies, star, planets like the earth, and even moons. Gravity holds things together and stops them floating off into space.
[35:41] GOD is the One who holds the heavens and the earth, lest they vanish. If anyone else is to hold them, they will most certainly vanish. He is Clement, Forgiving.
Moons are rocky bodies that orbit planets. Jupiter has sixteen moons. Mercury and Venus are the only planets that do not have moons. All the other planets have at least one. Our Earth has one moon. The Earth’s moon is dry, dusty and lifeless. There is no air to breath or water to drink. On July 20, 1969, two American astronauts became the first living trying ever to set foot on the moon. Astronauts left the moon in the lunar module containing 21 kg. of rocks that had belongs to the moon!
[54:1] The Hour has come closer, and the moon has split.
The size of our solar system is extremely insignificant in compare to our vast universe where it belongs. Our universe is the smallest and the innermost of all seven universes. Our universe is estimated to span distances in excess of twenty billion light years! The second universe surrounds our universe and is very large. The third universe surrounds the second universe and is even larger. The outermost universe is the seventh universe. No number exists to describe the size of this outermost universe! The incomprehensible vastness of these seven universes is within the fist of God’s hand!
[39:67] They can never fathom the greatness of GOD. The whole earth is within His fist on the Day of Resurrection. In fact, the universes are folded within His right hand. Be He glorified; He is much too high above needing any partners
Some astronomers think that the galaxies may one day start falling back toward each other until they crash together in a Big Crunch! In cosmology, the Big Crunch is a hypothesized collapse of the universe upon itself after its eventual stoppage of expansion! Is it not true that the Big Crunch is not a hypothesis, not a theory but an informidable law of God Almighty that will surely take place on the appointed day, the Day of Decision!
[21:104] On that day, we will fold the heaven, like the folding of a book. Just as we initiated the first creation, we will repeat it. This is our promise; we will certainly carry it out.
Thank you and may God guide me,
Muhammed Irtaza
